Introductions

First Day and Championship Game(s) Only – Team introductions will be made with teams lining up accordingly on their respective baselines. Teams will be introduced in the following order:
• Visiting team (non-starters, coaches, managers and/or team staff, starting lineup)
• Home team (non-starters, coaches, managers and/or team staff, starting lineup)

National Anthem
• First game of the day AND the 6 p.m. game each day

There will be a minimum 60-minute break between games.



NAIA Championship Format:

The NAIA Baseball National Championship consists of a field of 46 teams. The final site host (Lewis-Clark State College) receives an opening round bye. The remaining 45 teams will play in nine national championship opening rounds (five teams at each site). Winners of the national championship opening rounds advance to the AVISTA-NAIA World Series at Harris Field on the campus of Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. All competition in each round will be double-elimination format.


Official Party/Credentials:
The official party for the opening round of the 2010 NAIA Baseball National Championship is 24 (a team may dress 24 players in uniform). Six credentials, in addition to the official party, will be available for coaches and support staff, totaling a maximum 30 individuals in the credentialed party.
